PTA Board Members
My name is Daniel Lopez and I am the Oakland PTA President for the 2022-2023 school year. I have children attending Oakland Elementary in 2nd grade (Lucas) and Kindergarten (Leia.) I decided to get involved in the PTA because I witnessed first hand how much the good people involved in the PTA do for our schools, students, and communities. Without the PTA and it's various volunteers, contributors, and organizers, there would be a significant drop in the number of opportunities and impactful events offered to our school community. If you haven't already done so, I strongly encourage you to consider becoming a member of the Oakland PTA and help contribute in any capacity you feel comfortable. Let's make it a great school year together!
Hi, my name is Jen Ball. I happy to be able to serve as this year's PTA Vice President. I have three children. My oldest is 15 and attends Royal Oak High School. My second oldest is a 4th grader at Oakland and my youngest is a 2nd grader at Oakland. I am also a Girl Scout troop leader and work full time. I hope to make this a great year for all of our students!
My name is Kim and this is my second year on the Oakland PTA. I have four kids. Two of them are at Oakland in 3rd grade and kindergarten. I love to be an active member in the community and believe modeling that for our children is essential for a bright future.
